Information on the Processing of Personal Data for Candidates
(pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR)

Dear Candidate,

Thank you for your interest in the AMA Group. This notice describes how AMA S.p.A., as Data Controller, collects and processes your personal data in relation to your application.

  1. Data Controller

The Data Controller of personal data is AMA S.p.A., with registered office at Via Puccini, 28 – 42018 San Martino in Rio (RE), Italy. For any questions regarding the processing of your data, you may contact us at the following email address: privacy@ama.it.

  1. Types of Data Processed

We will process the personal data you voluntarily provide through the completion of the application form and the submission of your curriculum vitae. Such data may include, for example:

  • Personal and contact details: first name, last name, date of birth, residence address, email, telephone number.
  • Education and professional background: degree, qualifications, previous work experience, skills, knowledge of languages, and any other information contained in your CV.
  • Special categories of data (sensitive data): we kindly ask you not to include in your CV any sensitive data (such as, for example, data relating to health status, political opinions, sexual orientation, or racial origin), except where strictly necessary for the purposes of the application and required by law (e.g., belonging to protected categories). Should such data be included, they will be processed only with your explicit consent and in full compliance with applicable legislation.
  1. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
    Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:
  • Management of the recruitment and selection process: evaluation of your application for current and future positions within AMA S.p.A. and other companies of the AMA Group.
  • Contact for communications relating to the selection process: to contact you using the details provided in order to schedule interviews or provide you with updates on the recruitment process.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request (Art. 6, para. 1, letter b) GDPR), since the collection of data is necessary to follow up on your application.

  1. Methods of Processing and Retention Period

Processing will be carried out using manual and/or electronic and telematic tools, with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated, and in any case in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data.

Your personal data will be retained for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of your application, in order to consider you for future professional opportunities consistent with your profile. At the end of this period, your data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

  1. Scope of Data Disclosure
    Your data may be accessible to:
  • Authorized staff of the Human Resources Department and line managers involved in the selection process.
  • Companies of the AMA Group, for job opportunities at other sites or subsidiaries.
  • Any external service providers supporting the selection process (e.g., recruiting companies, providers of application management software), appointed as Data Processors.

Your data will not be disseminated.

  1. Rights of the Data Subject

As a data subject, you have the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 GDPR, namely the rights to:

  • Access: obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you exist and receive such data in an intelligible form.
  • Rectification: obtain the updating, rectification, or, where interested, the integration of data.
  • Erasure (right to be forgotten): obtain the deletion of personal data concerning you.
  • Restriction of processing: obtain the restriction of the processing of your data.
  • Data portability: receive in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format the personal data concerning you and transmit those data to another controller.
  • Objection: object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning you.
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Lodge a complaint: lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
